Grief doesn’t come with a handbook. It doesn’t arrive in a tidy timeline. And it doesn’t go away just because you’re back at work, school runs are piling up or well meaning friends are telling you to ‘stay strong’.

This isn’t counselling. This isn’t endlessly rehashing your trauma. And this definitely isn’t about moving on.

Edu-Therapy Grief Support is a proven 8 session process that helps you gently unpack the emotional pain of grief in a safe, supported and structured way. You don’t have to retell the full story. You don’t even have to share everything if you don’t want to. But you will start to feel lighter. Less stuck. More like yourself again.

    Each session is up to 90 minutes and takes place either online (wherever you are in the world) or face to face in Leeds or across Yorkshire. All you need to bring is your honesty and willingness to do the work. I’ll bring compassion, my expertise and the kettle (if you’re local!)

About the Grief Edu-Therapy Process

Emotions

When faced with grief we tend to put all of those tricky, messy emotions into a bag and carry it around with us. Guilt, fear, anger and shame weigh heavy in that bag unless we unpack it with compassion. Lighten the load of those emotions in a judgement free space.

Release

Letting go of all of the pent up emotional energy that you’ve carried for so long allows you to look at your loved one with love, fond memories and a happiness you’d left in the ‘before’. Unburdening yourself from the pain so you can welcome in a newfound sense of solace creates a sense of freedom.

Tools

With the knowledge in place, you’re equipped for life with the tools and know-how to manage, navigate and come through any other losses that might come you way in your future.

  • If you’re tired of only feeling sadness, if you'd like to be able to put down the emotional pain, if you’re ready to move forwards and create a life that honours your loved one - then you’re more than ready.

  • This program has been tried, tested and tweaked on thousands of people. It works. And it works when done consistently, with weekly (or more often) sessions to allow you to move through the process and into a place of healing. So yes, it’s of great benefit to take a run at it.

  • You’re likely to be accessing feelings that you haven’t allowed yourself to access for a long time. Bringing up the emotions surrounding the loss of a loved one (or any other loss) is hard. This isn’t the easiest road but it’s certainly highly effective.

  • As part of my training to become an Edu-Therapist I went through the very same process you’re considering yourself. So yes, I know it’s tough and there will be moments you wonder why you signed up. But also yes to knowing how much lighter, freer and happier you will feel. It’s worth it, believe me. I continue to use the tools taught in the sessions to help me address my grief and you will have these for life.

  • We will have a chat and you can share (as much or as little) about your loss and why you believe you’d benefit from this program. If it’s something you want to sign up to, I’ll send out the paperwork, you receive your own workbook (we do the work in the sessions and none in between) and we have weekly calls of up to 90 minutes.

  • You can always book a one off session with me to continue using the tools you’ll learn in your program. I’m always going to be available for you so that you can make sure you’re fully ready and have done all the healing and processing you need to do in order to feel peace again.

  • That is correct! I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist AND Spiritual Hypnotherapist, so if anything comes up during your Edu-Therapy sessions that you’d like to address at a deeper, subconscious level, then I’d be more than happy to chat to you about how hypnosis might help.
